This article shows the struggle in the Republican party to embrace Big Data when compared to the Democratic Party. It tells of how in the last presidential cycle the Democratic party used Big Data effectively through social media while the Republican party didn’t and how that effected that election. It specifically discusses the party’s struggle with younger voters and how they didn’t effectively use Big Data the way the Democrats did in that election cycle.
